I'm sure that everybody knows the summer songs of R.I.O. (if not, you've been living under a rock, or you are a big hater of the summer). Some of his most known songs are Shine on, When the sun comes down and One heart. I especially like the last one.

A lot or artist cover songs from other artists. This singer that had won the Dutch x-factor covered Don't stop believing (originally by Journey). I actually had not heard of Jaap van Reesema (the winner), before I heard this song. My first thought was: I like the Journey-version better, but now I have my doubts. Which version do you prefer?

I love rings

I always used to wear rings, but them lose them too. Lately I've been paying attention that I don't lose them, and because I love them so much, I bought more and more. I have 37 rings at this moment, quite a lot I think..
The ones with a red dot, those are real silver. The black bow was actually from the Christina Aguilera perfume, but I took it off and now I use it as a ring.
You can see that I have some identical rings, I don't know why I have that, but it's just the way it is. =)

(I don't know why my hands look so ugly on photo's, because in real life, they're actually quite okay.)

Disappointment for the Netherlands.

I can't say that the whole world doesn't know about the ''failure'' of Holland, last sunday. They played against Spain in the FIFA Wold Cup finale and Spain had won the game with 1-0. They made the goal in the 117th minute. What a bummer for Holland.
I just said '' failure'', because I don't really think that it was a failure, because our team is second of the whole world and now Holland is more known again. By the way, the Dutch team did their best, what else could they possibly do? Spain played very well and I can't say that the Dutch deserved more to win, because both team's tried as best as they could and the Spanish team eventually succeeded.
If we had to lose, I'd rather lose from Spain than from another country, because Spain was my no. 2 team that I wanted to win (no. 1 are the Netherlands ofcourse).
We came, we saw, we tried, and we should be proud that we made second place! Congratulatoins Spain, you deserved it.

Shopaholics!

When I went to Rotterdam two weeks ago with two friends, we bought a lot of stuff. We have also put our things together, to make a photo of it.

Hahahahaha we had so many bags, but this isn't even everything! Ah well, at least we had a good time (but our wallets didn't).

I don't use perfume that much, but there are perfumes that I just can't resist, because the smell is so good. I'll show you some of my favorites.

Thierry Mugler - Angel.

I had a miniature of this, and I definitely loved it! I know the first time that I smelled it. ,,This is the nicest smell ever!'' was my first thought.

DKNY - Be Delicious.

This perfume looks a little bit of an apple and it sure smells good!

Christina Aguilera.

I also got this for my birthday, because I asked for it. I wanted this perfume so bad!

Naomi Campbell- Cat deluxe.

This was a gift of one of my best friends. It was a nice sweet smell and I liked it very much!

Watch out: The Dutch are coming!

I don't know how, but honestly, I don't care: WE MADE THE FINALS! We have beaten Uruguay with 2-3 and everybody here in Holland is happy. (I think that all the Africans are happy too, because it was Uruguay's fault that Ghana didn't pass and now they kind of hate Uruguay.)
Up next: Germany - Spain. I don't think that we make a chance against one of these two, but we did win ALL the 2010 FIFA world cup games, included the qualifications (we're the only ones who did it), and we've also beaten Brazil. Who was expecting that?
Sunday: the final destination. How exciting!

Schoolstuff

The 22th of august. That is when I got to leave my freedom behind and return to the schoolbench. To make that as endurable as possible, it is necessary to have nice school stuff. When I was in a store I found these pretty notebooks and agenda. I had to have them, and especially because they were so cheap!

I always like to customize my agenda, so I already cut some cute Hello Kitty pictures out of the Happy meal box, so I can stick it into my diary, after cutting it perfectly.

(This is just a start, because I will stick some more pictures, drawings etc. in my agenda.)

Flashforward

The planet blacked out for two minutes and 17 seconds. The whole world saw the future. When I first heard these lines I thought: SWEET! I'm a big fan of series/movies in which unusual things happen and that make you sit on the edge of your seat, like The Vampire Diaries and Flashforward.
In this serie FBI agents try to find out: who made the blackout happen? How did they do it?  Why did they do it? It is very exciting and I just love it. The first episodes were on tv in the Netherlands last week, but I never have the patience to wait for something, that's why I always watch everything online. You can do it here.

Green leopard

Have you ever seen a green leopard? I haven't, but appearently my imagination broke through yesterday when I polished my nails. Good guess, I made green leopard nails.

I used these three nailpolishes:

- Gosh, 567 Metallic green

- Essence Nailart tip painter, 01 Heavy Black

So it isn't really perfect (okay honestly, it looks crappy), but it was my first time that I made leopardnails.

The Netherlands beat Brazil?

Nobody was expecting this, but the Netherlands have really kicked Brazil's ass at FIFA world cup. The result is: 2-1. What I'm afraid of now, is that the guys from the Netherlands are going to think: YES! We have beaten Brazil, so we're all that. And that they are going to underestimate the next opponent (Urugay) and that they're going to lose, just like the Brazilian guys did, when they underestimated Holland. Well, we'll see. I just hope that the Dutch know what they're doing.

The next  games are Tuesday (Uruguay - The Netherlands) and Wednesday (Germany-Spain). This should be interesting.

Umhausen, Austria

The summerholidays are arrived and in a few weeks I will be in Umhausen, Austria. I can't wait, because I think that there are a lot of fun things to do, and not only skiing or snowboarding.

I'm so excited! It's also a great possibility to practise my German, but ah well.. I rather speak English I think. =P

New photocamera

You might have noticed that the quality of my pictures has increased. That is because I got a new camera: a Casio Exilim EX-Z 330 Gold. I like it very much, because it's 12.1 megapixels and it can made HD movies! And it makes great pictures too ofcourse.

(The colour is actually more gold, because now it just still looks a kind of silver to me.)

Daily outfit

A few days ago I had a outfit on that I really liked, eventhough it was quite simple. Let's see if you like it too. I had a black t-shirt on with a striped skirt, a black panty, pink satin fake-allstars, the flower (wannabe)anklet, two silver rings and a necklace with a turkoois stone that looks like a scarab, which I bought in Rome.

I don't know if you all have noticed, but since a week or so I have something new on my blog. Under each post of mine you can click on nice, cool or lovely, if you think that what I say in the message is something fun.

All you have to do is click once and that's it. If you really like the post you can click several times, but you have to press F5, so that the site will be refreshed, because if you don't do this, the vote will be added, but then dis-added, because you clicked on it twice, without refreshing the page.

I did this, because now you can tell me what you think of my posts with just one click. And if you want to leave a real message: I removed the code that you needed to copy when you wanted to leave a message, so that with one click everything is done.

I like vintage-like stuff and I like clocks that I can use as a necklace, so I just love vintage clocks that I could use as a necklace. You know that I really should be in heaven when I find a clock like that. Well, I did find it and I want to show you my found tresure(s)! (It was without the necklace when I bought it.)

New shoes

When I went to the primark I immediatly fell in love with the pink-satin-fake-allstars (and I also fell in love with everything else that was there, but let's keep that out of this case) and ofcourse they had need to be mine. What do you think?

That wannabe-anklet actually belongs to the flower-covered-flats that I bought in the H&M the next day. It was in the sale, so I got for only €3,00! Now that's what I'm talking about. Now take a look and admire the cuteness of those shoes:
